Season One Finale…and What’s Next!
Hello, everyone!
This is Ang, the Brainy Blog writer! I wanted to take a moment to say thank you so much for all the love and support you show both Brainy Pixel and its blog! God has provided us with an absolutely amazing community of fans and fellow creatives. Each and every one of you is a blessing and an encouragement to continue in the path that God has laid out before us as both an animation studio and a blog.
Theology of Storytelling is going to wrap up its first season here and allow the Brainy Blog to switch gears for a few months. It’ll pick up in Season 2 with a look at some of the more practical tips and tricks for writing stories with good theology. A few of the topics will include ways to infuse theology into different storytelling genres (i.e. fantasy, sci-fi, romance, etc.), how to navigate some of the tricky cultural clashes between secular and Christian storytelling (magic, intimacy, violence), and how characters, plots, and worldbuilding can be used in different ways to tell good, Godly stories. All kinds of fun — and practical — tools for your storytelling toolbelt!
In the meantime, the Brainy Blog is going to bring back a fan favorite series for its Monday post with Encouraging the Christian Creative: Season 2! I am incredibly excited to dive back into this series and am praying that it will be as encouraging and God-glorifying as the first season (I am also ecstatic about its theme: gifts and talents!).
